Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Elderly patients over 65 years of age who are scheduled to undergo total knee arthroplasty under general anesthesia

Exclusion Criteria

  • (1\) Age 64 or younger
  • (2\) Allergic to remimazolam or sevoflurane or use is contraindicated
  • (3\) Undergoing dialysis due to preoperative renal failure
  • (4\) Revision total knee arthroplasty
  • (5\) Second surgery if surgery is scheduled for both knees in a single administration
  • (6\) When both knees are operated at the same time
  • (7\) In case of American Society of Anesthesiologists classification IV or higher
  • (8\) In case of severe obesity with a body mass index of 35 kg/m^2 or more
