1.Diagnosis of Schizophrenia using Diagnostic Criteria for Research (DCR) of International Classification of Disease-10th edition (ICD-10, WHO 1993).
2.Scale for the Assessment of Thought, Language, and Communication (TLC) score of more than equal to 2
3.Age between 18-60 years of either sex.
4.Right-handed
5.Patient should be on a stable dose of at least 600mg equivalent dose of antipsychotics for 2 weeks
6.Patients giving written informed consent.
1.Presence of co-morbid medical, neurological, or other psychiatric disorder(s).
2.Subjects who have received ECT in the past 6 months.
3.Patient with the presence of a pacemaker or other electronic implant, metal or magnetic objects in the brain
4.Patient with substance dependence (except nicotine and caffeine)
