- arrived at the emergency department independently (without an ambulance)
- Aged under 18 years
- Psychological limitations that prevent an understanding of the questionnaire, the study
or consent
- Physical limitations that do not allow the use of and response to the chatbot Ada
(e.g. blindness, missing/restricted finger motor function).
- Medically urgent indication for treatment, Manchester Triage Orange/Red.
- Refusal to participate in the study
- Lack of capacity to consent
