1. Patients aged over 20
2. patients requiring molar extraction
3. extraction sockets presenting > 50% of socket wall loss at least in one socket wall (in radiographic and clinical examination)
1. Untreated periodontal disease
2. Uncontrolled systemic diseases
3. Patients undergoing head and neck radiation
4. Patients with systemic conditions and receiving medications affecting soft and hard tissue healing
5. Patients with alcoholism and drug addiction
6. Heavy smoking habit (= 10 cigarettes per day)
7. Pregnant patients

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Frequency of further bone augmentation at the time of implant placement (bone augmentation is performed in presence of bone defect or in case of peri-implant bone thickness less than 1.5mm)
