Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Mechanically ventilated patients who get ready to wean
- •2\.Mechanically ventilated patients who fail the first attempt of spontaneous breathing trial
- •3\.Age \> 18 years
- •4\.Conscious patients with RASS \= 0, able to communicate and follow commands
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Refuse to be enrolled to the study
- •2\.Patients with hearing problem and/or blindness
- •3\.Patients with chronic respiratory failure, including baseline PaCO2 \> 45 mmHg, long term oxygen and/or home ventilator use
- •4\.Patients with severe psychiatric disorder
- •5\.End of life care patients
