Inclusion Criteria

High risk neonates will include the neonates born of Multiple pregnancy

Fetal IUGR

Abnormal umbilical doppler

Gestational diabetes

Chorioamnionitis

PROM

Birth

weight of less than 2000g

Gestation of less than equal to 34 weeks

Need for resuscitation at birth of PPV and more

Need for respiratory support for more than 24 hrs

Shock requiring inotropic or vasopressor support

Sepsis or meningitis or ventriculitis

Seizures or Encephalopathy

Hypoglycemia

Neonatal bilirubinaemia with billirubin within

2mg/dl of exchange

Congenital malformations or major

surgical condition

Exclusion Criteria

Refusal to participate in the study
