Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patient age more than 20 years old
- •2\. Patient with healthy condition; ASA Class I or II
- •3\. Patient whose presence of existing of molar tooth needed extraction (unrestorable condition) which is planned to be replaced with immediate implant placement
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Smoking more than 10 cigarettes/day (within past 12 months)
- •2\. Poorly controlled diabetes (HbA1c more than 8%)
- •3\. Pregnancy
- •4\. Current use of medications that adversely affect healing (e.g., corticosteroids,
- •chemotherapeutic, immunosuppressant drugs)
- •5\. Severe chronic periodontitis tooth
- •6\. History of head and neck irradiation
- •7\. History of oral/IV bisphosphonate use
- •8\. Presence of active infection of implant placement area
- •9\. When patient refuses to participate in this research
