- •scheduled to undergo short elective surgical procedure up to 40 minutes
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients having
- •1\. upper respiratory tract infection
- •2\. restricted mouth opening
- •3\. congenital heart disease
- •4\. risk of aspiration
- •5\. duration of surgery more than 40 minutes
- •\-position other than supine.
