- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method It is expected that the elderly with whom the Fall Prevention Nursing Intervention will be applied did not suffer falls during the three months of the study. This will be verified by self-report of fall by the elderly or by verbal report of one of their family members or caregivers. Thus, it will be observed that the outcome happened when there is a positive affirmation of the elderly, family members or caregivers.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The elderly who will receive the intervention are expected to vary in the magnitude of the Nursing Diagnosis Risk of falls. Risk factors such as the absence of insufficient lighting and non-slip material in the bathroom are expected to be modified by the action of the predictor variable Nursing Intervention Fall Prevention”. These risk factors will be identified before the intervention and at the end of the study. The absence of these factors will mean that the intervention was able to modify them.;The elderly who will receive the Fall Prevention intervention are expected to score 4-5 points in the selected Nursing Outcome indicators, expressing positive responses to the intervention. This will be verified by measuring the scores of the Nursing Outcomes scales suggested for the Nursing Diagnosis Risk of falls, before and after the intervention.
