Traumatic injury Having undergone surgical treatment Fractures that necessitated surgery for neurologic complications or vertebral instability (due to crushed fractures and/or posterior wall injury) Pathological fractures (due to purulent spondylitis, spinal tumors) Patients using steroids Dialysis patients being bedridden dementia
