Confirmation of the patient’s affliction with OCD by a psychiatrist on the basis of DSM-IV (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 4th Edition) and DSM-V (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th Edition) criteria
age of 18-50 years
diagnosis of the disease with at least 6 months
the patient and the caregiver in the same home, care-giver’s responsibility of patient care and follow-up at home
mastery of the Persian language by the patient and their active family member,
Affected by obsessive-compulsive disorder and other psychiatric disorders including dementia and schizophrenia and mental retardation
