Inclusion Criteria
- •Adult and elderly patients - minumum age 18 years old; on invasive mechanical ventilation; of both sexes; who present hyperglycemia (blood glucose =180 mg/dl) in the first 72 hours after hospitalization
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients already admitted to palliative care
