Inclusion Criteria
(a) age=18 years
(b) a registered person with deaf
(c) used sign language or lip-reading
(d) diagnosed with hypertension by a doctor for at least 6 months
Exclusion Criteria
(a) those who had been diagnosed with mental illness (e.g., alcoholism, schizophrenia, drug addiction) that interfered with participation in this study
(b) those who refused to participate in this study
