- •1Patient with written informed consent
- •2Either gender
- •3Short elective surgery lasting less than 1 hr (Excision Biopsy of lump, Hysteroscopic Endometrial Sampling , fractional curettage etc )
- •419 ââ?¬â?? 60 years of age
- •5ASA physical status 1 and 2

- •1Patient refusal
- •3 Alcohol and drug abusers
- •4Patients allergic to drugs involved
- •5Cardiovascular diseases
- •6 Respiratory diseases
- •7Significant Neurological illnesses like Epilepsy
- •8 Hepatic and Renal diseases
- •9 Emergency surgeries
- •10 BMI > 30
- •11Anticipated difficult intubation such as Modified mallampatti grade III, IV and Thyromental distance < 6.5cm, Mouth opening < 2.5 cm
- •12 Existence of a considerable pathology in the larynx or pharynx
- •13Known allergy to local anaesthetics
