Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Critically Ill children who require PICU care with no contraindication(eg: gastrointestinal bleeding, ileus, suspected perforation)for initiation of enteral nutrition or insertion of small bore feeding tube aged 1 year to 13 years and PICU for \>24 hours

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Children with Bowel obstruction
  • •2\. Children with risk of intestinal ischemia
  • •3\.Patients receiving Parenteral Nutrition
  • •4\.Those who have undergone surgeries on GI tract
  • •5\.Patients whose parents refuse to give consent.
