Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Critically Ill children who require PICU care with no contraindication(eg: gastrointestinal bleeding, ileus, suspected perforation)for initiation of enteral nutrition or insertion of small bore feeding tube aged 1 year to 13 years and PICU for \>24 hours
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Children with Bowel obstruction
- •2\. Children with risk of intestinal ischemia
- •3\.Patients receiving Parenteral Nutrition
- •4\.Those who have undergone surgeries on GI tract
- •5\.Patients whose parents refuse to give consent.
