Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Patients diagnosed with HFrEF, regardless of etiology
  • •2\. Receiving optimal medical treatment for heart failure
  • •3\. Age \= 16 years
  • •4\. Able to speak and read the Dutch language

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Permanent atrial heart rhythm disturbances
  • •2\. Hemodynamic significant valvular disease
  • •3\. Cardiac ischemia or chest pain when performing submaximal exercise
  • •4\. Neurological, orthopedic or peripheral vascular conditions preventing the patient from exercising
