This cross-sectional correlational study aims to compare the association between ultra- processed food consumption and metabolic health among young (18-25 years) and older adults (31-40 years) residing in Mumbai. A total of 200 participants will be selected using purposive convenience sampling (100 from each group). Data will be collected using validated tools including Food Frequency Questionnaire, a 3 day 24 hours dietary recall for dietary assessment, body composition analyzers for metabolic health evaluation, and the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) to assess physical activity levels. The findings may help identify age-specific dietary trends and inform public health strategies to reduce UPF intake and improved metabolic health outcomes in urban populations.

  • Individuals aged between 18-25 years and and 31-40 years Voluntarily agreeing to participate in the study Residing in Mumbai.

排除标准

  • Age: Below 18 and Above 40 Pregnant or lactating women Refusal to participate in the study Those who are critically ill.
