Inclusion Criteria

a)Patients willing for trial.

b)Patients of age group between 16-70 years irrespective of sex.

c)Patients having clinical signs and symptoms of Vatarakta.

d)Patients having serum uric acid level 6 mg/dl with associated features like joint pain and inflammation.

e)Not having any state mentioned in exclusion criteria.

Exclusion Criteria

a)Patients not willing for the trial.

b)Patients below age of 16 years and above 70 years of age.

c)Any other joint inflammatory disorder like RA.

d)Uncontrolled Diabetes and Hypertension. Chronic renal disease.

e)Patients having chronicity more than 10 years.

f)Disease associated with marked joint destruction.

g)Hemarthrosis, Koch arthritis, Septic arthritis.

h)Severe multi organ syndromes.

i)Patients suffering from major systemic illness.

j)Pregnant and lactating women.

k)Any other state thought fit for exclusion.
