Inclusion Criteria
All the patients undergoing cardiopulmonary bypass which requires opening of chambers, using conventional and Del Nido cardioplegia technique Both males and females of All age groups(New born to 60 years of age)
Exclusion Criteria
Emergency cardiac surgery.
Patients undergoing cardiopulmonary bypass without opening of chambers. (example: CABG)
Aortic Cross clamp time less than 40 minutes.

Name Time Method Size of the cardiomyocyte assesed through histopathology.Timepoint: Two time points one just after administration of cardio plegia,2nd one before removing the crossclamp
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method ICU stay. <br/ ><br>Cross-clamp time. Mechanical Ventilation time Inotropes use.Timepoint: Single time point ,during surgery(crossclamp time),rest of the outcomes after the surgery.
