- •1.Patients between 18 and 60 years of age of either sex
- •2.American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I and II
- •3.Undergoing elective surgery under SAB
排除标准
- •1.Existing psychiatric disorder
- •2.On medications such as beta blockers, antidepressants, cardiac or psychiatric drugs
- •3.Unable to read and fill the questionnaire on their own in English or the local language (Tamil).
- •4.Those refusing to give consent for the study
- •5.Significant cardiovascular or neurological disease
- •6.Pregnant patients
- •7.Previous procedures under SAB
