入排标准
入选标准
- •1. Iron deficiency anemia diagnosed as serum ferritin <15 µg/l
- •2. Patients of IDA with moderate anemia (8-10.9 g/dl) and severe anemia (6-8 g/dl)
排除标准
- •1.Patients or parents of patients 15-18 years not willing to give informed consent
- •2.Patients with Hb < 6g/dL
- •3.Patients of severe anemia in cardiac failure
- •4.Patients having mild IDA (Hb>=11g/dl)
- •5.Pregnant females with IDA.
- •6.Patient with ongoing iron malabsorption or bleed
- •7.Patient with IDA having mixed etiology for anemia (megaloblastic/ anemia of chronic disease)
