Inclusion Criteria
dysphagia from a stroke that was confirmed by a videofluoroscopic swallowing study (VFSS)
able to swallow voluntarily
Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score =24.
possible avtive cooperation and communication
Exclusion Criteria
implanted cardiac pacemaker
surgical history with steel screws in the body
skin problems associated with electrode placement
history of seizure or epilepsy
unstable medical conditions
