Patients undergoing Phacoemulsification cataract surgery in Aravind eye hospital eye hospital Pondicherry
All grades of Cataract ( NS1,NS2,NS3,NS4, PSCC)
All patients with endothelial cell count > 1900 cells per square millimeter
Mature cataract
Congenital Cataract and Development cataract
Traumatic Cataract
Complicated cataract
Corneal endothelial dystrophies
Uveitis
Glaucoma
Pseudoexfoliation syndrome
Patients with previous intraocular surgery
Nuclear sclerosis grading 5,6 by LOCS III classification
Small pupil diameter less than 4 mm after a full dilatation
Patients with intra operative complications like PC rent, dislocated IOL and iridodialysis.
Any retinal pathology
All patients with <1900 cell per square millimeter

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The study will help us to understand the endothelial changes after phacoemulsification in accordance with the different anterior chamber depths.We are expecting that there will be more endothelial loss in shallow anterior chamber Depth and there will be more loss of endothelial cells in harder cataracts.This will help us to open doors for research on better and safer techniques in shallow anterior chambersTimepoint: At 3 months
