Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Women undergoing elective laparoscopic/ robotic gynecological surgery
  • 2\.Women with benign indications for surgery
  • 3\.Surgery naive or one previous surgery ensuring that surgical ports are away from previous scar

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Women undergoing emergency surgery
  • 2\.Conversion to open surgery
  • 3\.Age more than 60 years
  • 4\.Patients with malignancy
  • 5\.Patients who are immunocompromised
  • 6\.Patients not willing to participate in the study
  • 7\.Women with more than one previous surgeries
  • 8\.Extensive abdominal scars due to burns.
