Tinea versicolor is a recurrent superficial fungal infection caused by malassezia species presenting with hypo or hyperpigmented scaly patches that significantly impact cosmetic appearance and quality of life conventional antifungal therapies often provide temporary relief with high relapse rates and persistent pigmentary changes complicating long term management homeopathy with its individualized approach offers a potential alternative yet comparative evidence on repertory based remedy selection remains limited this randomized double blind double arm control trial aims to evaluate the effectiveness of g h g jahrs repertory of skin symptoms versus the synthesis repertory in selecting the similimum for patients diagnosed with tinea versicolor a total of 60 participants fulfilling icd-11 diagnostic criteria and positive koh findings will be enrolled and allocated into two groups each receiving individualized homeopathic treatment based on respective repertorization methods treatment outcomes will be assessed using the tinea versicolor symptom severity score at baseline and 6 months statistical analysis using the mann whitney u test will determine differences in clinical improvement between groups the study seeks to generate robust evidence on repertory efficacy enhance understanding of homeopathic dermatological practice and support the development of more precise repertory selection strategies for managing tinea versicolor.

  • diagnosed with Tinea Versicolor according to ICD 11 criteria and KOH mount test Adults aged 20-65 years diagnosed with tinea versicolor No internal or topical antifungal treatment for at least four weeks prior to enrolment Willingness to provide informed consent and adhere to study protocols.

排除标准

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women Significant comorbidities affecting skin health Patients with severe life threatening systemic illness and those who demands acute emergency interventions.
