Inclusion Criteria
Age more than 18 years
Patients having obstructive airway disease
Willing to participate and give the consent
Patients on stable treatment for 1 month
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with active tuberculosis
Patients with active haemoptysis
Present exacerbation
Associated respiratory illness (Ca Lung/Pneumonia/LRTI/Lung abscess etc.)
Associated systemic illness like myocardial infarction, unstable angina, renal diseases,
diabetes mellitus, other immunosuppressive diseases)
Unstable patients
History of URTI/LRTI in past 2 week
History of hospital admission in past 8 weeks
History of exacerbation in last 4 weeks
Non-compliant patients
Patients in moribund condition
Taken vitamin D3 and calcium in last 6 months
