Inclusion Criteria
1)Age 18 to 70 years
2)ASA 1 and 2
3)Head and neck cancer surgeries requiring nasotracheal intubation
4)Mouth opening more than 1.5 cm (more than 1 and ½ finger).
Exclusion Criteria
1)Trismus with restricted mouth opening ( <1.5 cm)
2)Total ankyloglossia with a complete involvement of base of tongue in carcinoma tongue
3) BMI more than 35.
4) Patients with severe cardiac disease
5) ASA 3 and above
6) Patients planned for an upfront elective awake Tracheostomy or awake fiberoptic intubation.
