Patients undergoing elective abdominal hysterectomy under subarachnoid block.
Age: 35-65 years
ASA(American society of anaesthesia) physical status I and II.
Contraindications to subarachnoid block like,
- Local infection or sepsis at the
site of Lumbar puncture
- Bleeding disorders,
thrombocytopenia
- Space occupying lesions of the
brain
- Anatomical disorders of the spine
- Hypovolaemia e.g. following
massive haemorrhage
Allergy to local anaesthetic drugs .
Pregnancy and lactation
Patient on any form of analgesics therapy.
