Inclusion Criteria
1.Patients/Relatives of the patients (when the patient is not in a position to give consent or not oriented to time, place or person) who give informed consent for participation in the study
2.Patients with acute necrotizing pancreatitis with collection after the first week of illness, of age more than 18 years
Exclusion Criteria
1.Patients with prior radiological/endoscopic or surgical intervention prior to admission.
2.Patients diagnosed to have chronic pancreatitis
