Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Patients willing to participate in the study.
  • •2\.Patients in the age group of 18\-60 years of age.
  • •3\.Patients with post\-acne scars in the maxillofacial region.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Pregnant and lactating women.
  • •Patients with history of systemic diseases which affect the lipid profile. (Diabetes mellitus, thyroid dysfunction, cardiovascular diseases, \& liver disorders).
  • •Patients with post\-herpetic scars/post\-varicella scars, burn scars in maxillofacial region.
  • •Patients on corticosteroid or aspirin therapy for past 1 year.
  • •Patients with keloids, family history of keloids.
  • •Patients with bleeding disorder.
  • •Patients with active viral or bacterial infection of face or active inflammatory lesions of face.
  • •Patients with malignant tumours of face.
  • •Patients with diseases like HIV, tuberculosis.
  • •Patients undergoing any cosmetic treatment or taking any medication for facial aesthetics currently.
