Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Patients willing to participate in the study.
  • 2\.Patients in the age group of 18\-60 years of age.
  • 3\.Patients with post\-acne scars in the maxillofacial region.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Pregnant and lactating women.
  • Patients with history of systemic diseases which affect the lipid profile. (Diabetes mellitus, thyroid dysfunction, cardiovascular diseases, \& liver disorders).
  • Patients with post\-herpetic scars/post\-varicella scars, burn scars in maxillofacial region.
  • Patients on corticosteroid or aspirin therapy for past 1 year.
  • Patients with keloids, family history of keloids.
  • Patients with bleeding disorder.
  • Patients with active viral or bacterial infection of face or active inflammatory lesions of face.
  • Patients with malignant tumours of face.
  • Patients with diseases like HIV, tuberculosis.
  • Patients undergoing any cosmetic treatment or taking any medication for facial aesthetics currently.
