Inclusion Criteria

•Ability to give consent
•Internet access
•Electronic device with camera and microphone
•Sufficient understanding of the German language
•Willingness to complete two online questionnaires, each lasting approx. 20 minutes
•Willingness to take part in two online video interviews, each lasting approx. 120 minutes
•Willingness to take part in a 5-week online Metacognitive Training (Online-MCT)
•Willingness to leave an e-mail address

Exclusion Criteria

•Severe neuropsychological disorders
•Intellectual disability
•Participation in an MCT in the last 6 months
•Acute suicidal intentions
•Current drug or alcohol addiction

The PANSS (Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale) (Kay, Opler, & Lindenmayer, 1989; https://doi.org/10.1192/S0007125000291514) is a semi-structured clinical interview that records the schizophrenic symptoms of the last seven days on a positive, negative and a general psychopathology scale. The difference in the positive items (from T0 to T1), which record the delusional ideas (P1: delusional ideas, P5: ideas of grandeur, P6: mistrust/persecutory ideas), serve as the primary target parameters in this study. <br><br>The PANSS is an established scale in schizophrenia research. The PANSS is administered at the pre- and post-survey of the intervention period (Online-MCT/waiting list).
