Inclusion Criteria
1.Surgically Inoperable upper/ middle/ lower thoracic oesophageal carcinoma
2.Histopathologically proven squamous cell / adenocarcinoma of esophagus
3.KPS >70
Exclusion Criteria
1.Prior history of irradiation to the chest.
2.KPS < 70
3.Prior history of cardiovascular disease that might interfere with the present study, like ischemic heart disease / rheumatic heart disease / cardiomyopathy etc.
4.Uncontrolled co-morbidities like diabetes and hypertension
5.Those not suitable for chemoradiation
