Inclusion Criteria
patients both elderly above 65 years of age and younger 18 to 65 years of age planned for elective surgeries in gynecologic, burn and plastic, orthopedic, robotic surgery and general surgeries under general anesthesia
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with kidney and liver diseases,any CNS disorder.
Patient shifted to ICU after surgery.
Emergency surgeries
Inability to understand the questions asked.
Patients with prior history of dementia/ delirium
People not willing to participate in the study
