入选标准

  • Aortic stenosis cohort:
  • Provision of written informed consent
  • Known aortic stenosis of any degree
  • Must have had a prior baseline minimum standard echocardiogram dataset (BSE) at least 6 months ago
  • Outpatient or inpatient
  • Acute coronary syndrome:
  • Provision of written informed consent
  • Inpatient admitted with ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), non-ST elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) or unstable angina defined by two or more of raised cardiac troponin, ECG changes and/or symptoms as per European Society of Cardiology definitions
  • Outpatient if post-discharge without having an IP transthoracic echocardiogram (TTE)
  • Include MI with non-obstructive coronary artery (MINOCA)
  • Pre- and post-angiography patients will be included
  • Patients deemed to have Takotsubo cardiomyopathy will also be included

排除标准

  • Aortic stenosis:
  • Unwilling or unable to provide written consent
  • Patient with other significant pathology on baseline echo which needs re-assessment (other valve disease, cardiomyopathies, etc)
  • Patient with poor echo views
  • Adult congenital heart disease (exception of bicuspid aortic valve)
  • Acute coronary syndrome cohort:
  • Unwilling or unable to provide written consent
  • Heart failure as primary diagnosis
  • Patients with known at least moderate severity of valve disease
