Patients presenting with clinical evidence of Cyclosporine-induced
gingival overgrowth.
Systemically healthy patients who
are not under Cyclosporine medication but require routine gingival
excisional procedures like crown lengthening and gingivoplasty
Patients with history of:
1.Pregnancy,lactation,smoking
2.Long-induced administration of anti-inflammatory medication
3.Excessive consumption of alcohol
4.Localized radiation therapy of the oral cavity
5.Have undergone periodontal therapy within the preceding 6
months
6.Patient not willing to participate in the study

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method 1. Total macrophages in the tissue sample using <br/ ><br>IHC CD68 marker. <br/ ><br>2. Count of M1 and M2 macrophages using IHC <br/ ><br>markers CD80,CD86,CD163,CD206 <br/ ><br>3.Relative ratio of M1 and M2 macrophages in <br/ ><br>both test and control groups. <br/ ><br>4.To evaluate histogically the severity of <br/ ><br>inflammation in tissue samples and correlate it <br/ ><br>with the relative ratio of M1 and M2 subsets of <br/ ><br>macrophagesTimepoint: 1 week
