1.Patients treating with PEA mechanotherapy with 0.022 slot MBT prescription.
2.Patients who needed en masse retraction of maxillary anteriors.
3.Patients advised with 1st premolar extraction for retraction of the maxillary anteriors.
4.Patients with crowding less than 2mm in the maxillary arch.
5.Patients who were entering the retraction stage (2nd stage).
6.Patients in whom sliding mechanics were used for anterior retraction.
7.Patients in whom maximum anchorage was needed.
8.Patients in an age group of 15 to 30 years.
9.Patients with a minimum of 5mm extraction space available for retraction.
1.Periodontally compromised patients.
2.Patients with severe crowding.
3.Patients with missing anterior teeth.
4.Previous history of orthodontic treatment.
5.Patients with any systemic diseases.
