Inclusion Criteria

Primary dysmenorrhea with pain severity score at least 3 in Visual Analogue Scale, the onset of the pain 2 years after the menarche, the onset of the pain before or at the same time of the bleeding, cramping or colic pain in the middle line of supra-pubic, flanks, low back, or inguinal
Exclusion criteria: Under treatment for depression or anxiety, oral contraceptives use, hormonal disorders, irregular menstrual cycle, pelvic infection, history of peptic ulcer, use herbal or other synthetic drugs during the study period, vaginitis, sensitivity to medicinal plants, and incomplete treatment
