Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients of either sex, aged 18\-75 years, having severe cancer pain (NRS 7 or more) and are morphine naïve will be included in the study

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Patient already receiving morphine or any other opiates.
  • 2\.Patients who are having morphine non\-responsive/partially responsive pain
  • 3\. Patients having brain tumour/ metastasis to brain, liver or renal dysfunction
  • 4\. Patient having the bowel obstruction
  • 5\. Patients who refuse consent
  • 6\. Patient having pure neuropathic pain
  • 7\. Patient requiring steroid for managing pain
