Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Cases posted for elective tonsillectomy or adenotonsillectomy surgeries in amala institute of medical
- •sciences, Thrissur with in this particular duration of study.
- •2\. ASA I or II.
- •3\. Age between 2 to 12 years.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients not willing to participate in this study
- •2\. Patients allergic to dexmedetomidine
- •3\. Patients with anticipated difficult airway
- •4\. Patients with developmental delay, mental retardation, attention deficit or hyperactive disorder
- •5\. Patients with liver, renal or cardiac diseases
- •6\. ASA III, IV, V and VI
