1.Those fulfilling the criteria for Depression as per Diagnostic Criteria for Research, ICD 10 DCR (WHO, 1993).
2.Patients in the age group of 18 to 50 years old.
3.Patients who will give consent for the study.
4.BDI score of Mild to Severe Depression (Score of 11 to 40).
5.Intelligence will be assessed clinically
6.Both male and female gender.
7.Education- 5th grade and above.
1.History of chronic or other significant general medical/ neurological illness.
2.Comorbid diagnosis of any other psychiatric disorder or substance dependence (except for tobacco).
3.Those receiving electroconvulsive therapy in past six months.
4.Those having intellectual disability.
5.Those not willing to give informed consent for the study.
