Inclusion Criteria
Healthy children who had previously untreated at least one pair of fully eruption of first permanent molars with carious lesions (ICDAS score 2 to 4) in functional occlusion and without frank cavities, bitewing radiographs showed radiolucent involved less than or equal to outer one-third of dentin and had a cooperative behavior during dental procedure.
Exclusion Criteria
Children who had medical disease, enamel defected teeth, known acrylic allergies, and uncooperative behavior were excluded.
