Inclusion Criteria
Age 16 – 24 months
Use of a pacifier
Anterior open bite (negative overbite = 0 mm)
Increased overjet (class II malocclusion)
(overjet = 4mm)
Exclusion Criteria
No pacifier
Patients with congenital, genetic or trauma caused maldevelopments (syndrome, disability, cleft lip and palate)
Habits like thumb-/fingersucking

Name Time Method Reduction of soother caused maldevelopment in DMA (open bite, increased overjet) after 9 to 12 months; Measurement with metal milimeter ruler

Name Time Method Comparison of the pacifiers regarding to impact on dental development (dental misalignment - open bite -frontal, increased overjet, measurement via metal ruler in Milimeter) after 9 to 12 months, latest at 36 months of age
