All Preterm Newborn(less than 37 completed weeks), inborn or outborn, admitted in the department of Neonatology, developing neonatal hyperbilirubinemia
Exclusion Criteria
1. Parents not giving consent

Name Time Method 1. Correlation between bilirubin values measured by transcutaneous bilirubinometer(TcB) and serum bilirubin estimation (TSB) before , during and after phototherapy.Timepoint: 1. Immediately before starting phototherapy <br/ ><br>2.At 6 hrs of starting phototherapy <br/ ><br>3. At 12 hrs of starting phototherapy <br/ ><br>4. Thereafter, every 12hrs interval till phototherapy is required <br/ ><br>5. Every 12hrs after omitting phototherapy for 48 hrs
