Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients under ASA I and II
- •Undergoing elective surgery under general anaesthesia
Exclusion Criteria
- •Refusal to participate
- •Major peripheral vascular disease, unstable angina or ejection fraction \<40%, implanted pacemaker/cardioverter, history of heart failure, autonomic nervous system disorders
- •Respiratory distress, increased intraabdominal pressure, difficult airway
- •Mental incompetence
- •Patients currently taking angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors, angiotensin receptor blockers, beta blockers and calcium channel blockers
