入排标准
入选标准
- •1. Individuals with healthy periodontium.
- •2. Patients with diagnosis of generalized gingivitis
- •3. Patients with diagnosis of generalized stage III grade B periodontitis
- •(Periodontal health, gingivitis and periodontitis definition will be based on the classification of periodontal and peri-implant diseases and conditions as proposed in 2017 World Workshop)
- •4. Individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus (HbA1c < 7.0%)
- •5. Presence of at least 20 natural teeth
排除标准
- •1. Obese individuals, BMI >25 kg/m2 , waist circumference of >= 90 cm for men and >= 80cm for women according to Asian Pacific Perspective Obesity-WHO 2000.
- •2. Individuals who have received periodontal therapy in the last 6 months.
- •3. Individuals with systemic diseases other than type 2 diabetes mellitus (HbA1c < 7.0%)
- •4. Individuals who have history of antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory therapy
- •5. Smokers
- •6. Pregnant/lactating and postmenopausal women
