Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Elective cardiac surgery
  • •\- Sufficient knowledge of the German language
  • •\- Written informed consent

Exclusion Criteria

  • •\- Inadequate knowledge of the German language, aphasia, and other inability to complete the self\-report questionnaires or understand the clarification about the study
  • •\- Lack of consent to participate or unwillingness to cooperate (compliance)
  • •\- Age \< 50 years
  • •\- Known dementia syndrome with lack of capacity to consent
