People who undergo the following surgeries under general anesthesia at the researching medical center
A. gynecological robotic surgery
B. Mastoidectomy & tympanoplasty
C. parotidectomy
1) ASA physical status classification = ‘ASA IV’
2) Body mass index = 35
3) Diabetic autonomic neuropathy
4) Gastric emptying delay or hiatal hernia
5) Allergic to local anesthetics
6) Participation in other prospective clinical studies that may affect postoperative course
7) Incapable of responding to the questionnaire (e.g. cognitive impairment)
