Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • All patients having breast cancer planned for anthracycline based chemotherapy and have
  • normal LA and LV function at baseline.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1.Patients with previously diagnosed cardiovascular disease including valvular heart
  • disease, ischemic heart disease, previous cardiac surgery, or percutaneous interventions
  • 2.Seriously ill patients, patients with life expectancy less than 1 year
  • 3.Patients with poor window, unable to lie down or pain at local site prohibiting detailed
  • echocardiographic study
  • 4.Patients with irregular rhythms including atrial fibrillation, frequent VPCs
  • 5.Patients undergoing other treatments like radiotherapy
  • 6.Patients with other serious comorbidities
