Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •All patients having breast cancer planned for anthracycline based chemotherapy and have
- •normal LA and LV function at baseline.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patients with previously diagnosed cardiovascular disease including valvular heart
- •disease, ischemic heart disease, previous cardiac surgery, or percutaneous interventions
- •2\.Seriously ill patients, patients with life expectancy less than 1 year
- •3\.Patients with poor window, unable to lie down or pain at local site prohibiting detailed
- •echocardiographic study
- •4\.Patients with irregular rhythms including atrial fibrillation, frequent VPCs
- •5\.Patients undergoing other treatments like radiotherapy
- •6\.Patients with other serious comorbidities
