Patients aged 18-70 years
ASA grade I and II
Upper limb surgeries involving distal humerus and below
Local infection at injection site
Bleeding disorders
Patients on anti-coagulants
ASA grade III and IV
History of allergy to local anaesthetics
Patient with a considerable history of cardiovascular abnormalities in the form of sick sinus, heart blocks, myocardial infarction or history suggestive of hepatic and renal dysfunction
Pregnant women
Severe hypotensive states
In situations of significant respiratory depression
COPD patients
Raised ICT
Renal failure
Myasthenia gravis
