Given consent with capacity to consent present.
Meet current EULAR classification criteria for primary Sjögren's syndrome or systemic sclerosis.

Exclusion Criteria

current pregnancy
not fulfilling the inclusion criteria
lack of consent and capacity to consent
Control patients must not have an underlying inflammatory disease

Primary Outcome Measures

Endothelial function using RHI<br><br>Detection of plaques in the common carotid artery, intima-media thickness of the common carotid artery, ankle-brachial index, pulse wave velocity of the common carotid artery and radial artery, and pulse wave analysis of the radial artery.
